Kids Country Day Care (Kid's Country Learning Center)

Observation

Licensor observed pink ice tray on sensory panel hung on outdoor playground fence in the toddler/preschool 1 playground to be broken and cracked and little bits of plastic to be on the ground. Licensor noted flaking plastic on trim of shelving units through out the toddler and preschool classrooms poses a choking risk. Licensor observed a corded window blind in the Director's office with long pull cord. It was installed on the window that seperates that room from the front desk/lobby area. Licensor observed a plastic grocery store bags to be stored under the children's handwashing sink in a preschool classroom. Licensor observed there to be broken lattice and equipment on the sensory panel that is hung on the outdoor play fence. This sensory panel has sharp edges due to the broken lattice and plastic ice tray. Licensor noted a broken hinge on a preschool shelving unit which poses a sharp edge hazard. Licensor noted several shelves and furnishings in the child care environment to be in poor condition with loose/flaking plastic trim. Licensor noted the linoleum flooring throughout the building to be in poor condition with cracking/flaking linoleum. Licensor observed multiple outlets throughout the building to no longer have functioning automatic shutters. Due to the age of the outlets, the shutters were no longer automatically closing when plugged in electrical devices were pulled out of the sockets. The majority of the outlets in the building were observed to no longer be tamper resistant.
